"Mastering Life Through Practice and Attunement"
– A gathering open to all seekers on the path of the heart, of all religions, or none.
–An open spiritual school offering tools and ways for understanding and living life to the fullest: we wish to master the challenges of life better and not be victims of circumstance.
–Offering an opportunity for Sufi students and all others interested to deepen, year-by-year, in the fullest range of teachings through our lineage holders: Hazrat Inayat Khan, Hazrat Samuel L. Lewis and Hazrat Moineddin Jablonski, whose teachings are being renewed and revisioned to meet today's demands.
“For years, I followed a Gandhian attitude, always yielding, and got nothing for it.
When once I was able to be firm and take the path of the master, everything came my way.”
--Murshid Samuel Lewis (S.A.M.)
We celebrate the living tradition of Sufism. As part of this, we learn “the mastery and control of the breath, which spiritualizes the whole person. If breath, bloodstream and spirit are repurified through practises and meditation, the flower of the heart and the soul blossoms through the united strains of the inner sun, rain and earth.” The physical body is the real temple of God and every place is a holy one.“
We share teaching through Dances of Universal Peace, walking meditation, healing, zikr (Remembrance), Sufi poetry and stories, art, Soulwork and spiritual psychology, meditation and silence.
Dedicated to the service of peace and for the benefit of all beings.
The Walks as transmitted by Murshid S.A.M. will be a focus this year, including:The walks of the elements, the centers of the body, the divine qualities, the wazaif („beautiful names of God“), the planets, tassawuri (attunement to the illuminated souls of humanity). As we share these walking meditations in the presence of spiritual teachers who know them, we awaken deep remembrances in our own souls. We can immediately feel and taste their essence. In an almost playful yet concentrated way, we work with breath and voice, posture and gesture, and so experience each special rhythm as part of us. We also practice the embodiment of divine qualities in “words of power” (wazaif) in order to put them into practice in our daily lives.

May this Summer-School awaken and inspire you to strive further and further for more life, love, joy and peace!
Hazrat Murshid Samuel L. Lewis (1896–1971) was a mystic schooled in both Zen and Sufism, recognized as a teacher in both traditions, who felt that spirituality should be a matter of living experience, not division and conflict. His spiritual successor, Hazrat Murshid Moineddin Jablonski (1942–2001) believed that spirituality was not fully realized until fully embodied, with all elements of the personality – light and dark – included in a life of joy and compassion. Both lived and taught in the tradion of Hazrat Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan (1882–1927), who brought the Universal Sufism into the west. On this way we recognize equally all the different spititual traditions of the world and honor them as an expression of the Holy.
